RM 032 VOILES DE SAINT-BARTH Richard Mille
call of the ocean The Caribbean Sea hosts regattas, one of the most enjoyable yachting events in the world. The stunning wave performance is just as stunning on the pier, as this impressive sports watch takes center stage.
After a pandemic-related break, the wind blew through the participants' sails again during the 11th Voiles de Saint-Barth Richard Mille. The watch brand has been actively participating in the event since its inception in 2010, presenting a limited edition of 120 pieces for the event. The RM 032 Automatic Winding Flyback Chronograph Les Voiles de Saint Barth is a real diving instrument, with a 50mm diameter titanium case, water-resistant to 300 meters, and compliments the Antilles sky with its sky blue and white quartz TPT® And the colors of the ocean with its two-tone unidirectional rotating bezel.
And, while it is ISO 6425 compliant, this Richard Mille-created timepiece is more than a diver. Its skeletonized dial flaunts several hands, including hour and minute hands and a flyback chronograph. Whenever the timing is triggered, the red hands indicate the seconds and the yellow hands indicate the minutes. The counter at 6 o'clock summarizes the hours. A rotating power reserve indicator at 2 revolutions per minute lets the wearer know the unit is working properly. This data is completed by a large date at 12 o'clock and a month aperture at 4:30, both of which have a semi-instantaneous display. All data is driven with extreme precision by the RMAC2 movement. This self-winding movement stands out with elements such as its variable-geometry rotor and double barrel. Its architecture is designed to provide a consistent power reserve of around 50 hours.
RM 65-01 Automatic Split Titanium Chronograph
aesthetic power The most fashionable material of the moment offers lightness and enhanced resistance. It also amplifies the modern design of this timepiece, combining cutting-edge mechanics and innovation.
Introduced in 2020, the RM 65-01 split-seconds chronograph is the pure concentration of Richard Mille's watchmaking expertise and style DNA. The barrel-shaped case made of carbon fiber TPT ® has a striped pattern that helps to enhance the technical personality of the watch. Its red gold finish transforms its charm by adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the material. This year, titanium finishes give the watch a completely different, sportier identity. This is further accentuated by bright colors dotted with time data on the skeleton dial.
The time indication, hours and minutes can be easily read thanks to the color codes associated with each function. Like the original model, the crown can be used to wind or set the time indicator, as well as to adjust the superb vertical date. A pointer placed at 4:30 always provides information about the selector's position.
The imposing RMAC4 movement is made up of 480 individual parts with an impeccable finish and operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour to ensure uncompromising precision. The sapphire caseback allows you to clearly see this complex mechanism and variable geometry rotor. Richard Mille's creativity also benefits from the red pusher at 8 o'clock. 125 Press it to fully arm the cylinder. The automatic movement has a power reserve of 60 hours.
RM 35-03 Automatic Rafael Nadal
high level exercise A new feat of engineering! The fourth entry in the series explores the potential of state-of-the-art technology with its groundbreaking movement and "on-demand" variable geometry rotor.
Direct manipulation of the structure of the oscillating weight and control of the winding of the movement according to your movement activity is a technical feat finally accomplished by Richard Mille after three years of development. Thanks to the RM 35-03 Automatic Rafael Nadal, complications are now trending towards simplicity. Tapping the button set at 7 o'clock moves the center of gravity of the timepiece. And, the result? RMAL2 caliber rotors range from traditional looking rotors (aka semi-circular) silent to butterfly shaped rotors. This action interrupts the winding process and prevents the oscillating weight from spinning at breakneck speeds during intense movements. The sapphire crystal case back allows you to enjoy this moment of transformation.
To optimise the timepiece adjustment, a pusher at 2 o'clock completes the automatic movement control system. With just one tap, the wearer can switch to W Mode, Wind, N Mode, Neutral and H Mode to set the time.
This masterpiece of fine watchmaking enjoys a design that rivals its performance. The case (43.15 x 49.95 mm) is available in blue or white Quartz TPT®, and the strap is made of the same material or Carbon TPT®, protecting the extraordinary mechanism with outstanding style. On the skeletonized dial, skeletonized hour and minute hands hover over a geometric landscape of colored crosses. The on/off position indicator at 6 o'clock lets the wearer quickly know if the rotor is engaged. The watch is ready and eager to accompany you to accomplish all your feats!
